Recording:

With recording I aim to capture the band or artist in the way they feel most comfortable, whether that's in their living room, playing live altogether in a rehearsal space, building up the recording through overdubs, or working in a traditional recording studio. I don't restrict myself to one working method and will always adapt to find the best solution for every individual project and budget. Before working on a project I always prefer to meet the band/visit a rehearsal to work out the best way forward with the recording. There are a number of studios in both Edinburgh and Glasgow that I can work from.

Mixing:

I have mixed recordings for bands coming from all different situations and styles, whether that's self recorded, having worked together from the start of the project or having been recorded in another studio, I will always bring together the recording in a way that achieves the bands vision and retains the character of the recordings. I am comfortable working with projects of all different sizes and track counts.
